Nichols Consulting & Veritone Conduct Webinar on RIPA Reimbursement
On Thursday, July 9, Nichols Consulting and the law enforcement technology firm, Veritone conducted a webinar on “Racial and Identity Profiling” (RIPA - AB 953) reimbursement. In the webinar, Veritone’s Mike Morper and I discuss all of the eligible activities that are reimbursable for Police and Sheriff Departments through the SB 90/State-Mandated Cost process. With “Wave 4” coming due on January 1, 2022, all Law Enforcement Agencies throughout the state of California will be expected to be fully-trained and incompliance with the Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA - AB 953) on that date.
